COVENANT LADDER TO GREATNESS

“And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, this is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and ye turn to the left. (Isaiah 30:21)

In John chapter 14:21, Jesus Christ the king-of glory said "verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believe on me,the works that I do shall he do also, and greater works than this shall he do, because I go to my father" This statement depicts the state of a father's heart towards his children. Every good father always desires that his children turn out to become the best and do more exploits than himself.

Jesus Christ, in all of his awesome attainments and His wonderful accomplishments which have remained source of blessings in all spheres of life to many generations such that human minds couldn't fathom the magnitude thereof still desires that all of His offspring who believe in him turn out to be great in life. When Jesus said "Greater works" He simply means that his sons and daughters will live to experience greatness in all spheres of their life. He expects us to command strange greatness in life, in business, in career, in the world of academics, in marriage, in finances, in our physical body and what have you.

Beloved, supernatural greatness is the exclusive reserved of the saints, it is the mandate of the Almighty God for every person who believes in His son Jesus Christ . The world at large has seen great things before yet the Bible testifies that the degree of greatness which our God has ordained for us is such that cannot be described nor explained neither can it be valued by any expert and valuer the world over (Isaiah 64:4,1 Corinthians 2:9)

Financial giants such that will consider the assets base of the world's giants nations as nothing are emerging shortly in the body of Christ Business men and women who will literally have more than a population of a whole nation as their work force by the reason of their conglomerates expansion are coming on the scene in a short while. In all walks of life, be it in academics, government, or in any chosen career even in the work of the ministry, supernatural greatness is what has been ordained for all and this is our season of ceaseless greatness!

Concerning Jacob one of the grandsons of father Abraham, the Bible recorded in Deuteronomy 32:12-14. That he rode upon the high places of the earth, which signifies that Jacob was the greatest of all in his generation. He stood far above every one in his line of business. He experienced strange greatness such that he had in abundance all his heart could desire. He lived in plenty and prosperity was his identity. While searching for what actually brought Jacob to the pinnacle of greatness, I discovered that secret in vers 10 of the above scripture which says:  

He found him in a desert land, and in the waste howling wilderness; he led him about, he instructed him, he kept him as the apple of his eyes.

Jacob became wonder to his generation simply because he was divinely guided by God. God led him about and instructed him. All of Jacob's life was nothing, he was nobody, he had nothing and was going nowhere because the Bible said that he was in a desert land, in the waste howling wilderness which I connotes dryness, barrenness and I emptiness yet, he became a child of I destiny even in the desert land and a man on top of his world even in the wilderness. His desert and wilderness experience were turned into watered garden simply because he 'was divinely guided.

Beloved, by the help 'of the Holy Spirit, I consider guidance as the covenant ladder to greatness; it is what determines the level of speed and splendour any person could experience in the race of live. Supernatural greatness is what heaven has designed for His people but whosoever desires it must be divinely guided. Jesus Christ who did strange works and great exploits which connote greatness also wants us to do greater works than He did said of Himself:  

I can of mine own self do nothing: as I bear, I judge and mine judgement is just, because I speak not mine own will but the will of the father which hathsentme, John 5:30.

Jesus Christ in the above verse of the scripture revealed to us one of the secrets that made Him a wonder and amazement to the world even till now. Throughout the Bile history, everyone that emerged on the pinnacle of greatness got there via divine guidance. Greatness is what everybody is gaining for but divine guidance is what guarantees its reality. Nobody can ever amount to anything in destiny except he who is divinely guided by God. When God leads you, He makes an enviable leader out of you when He directs your ways. He garnishes your life with distinctions such that are uncommon among men.

King David never lost any battle throughout his reign in Israel not because he was a wonderful warrior but he was a man who considered God's leading as paramount. He said in Psalms 103; 14 that God, it is God that has mode us not ourselves. Put the two scriptures together, David was analysing that God designed us, He knew everything about us and He is the only one who can make greatness out of us when we allow Him to guide us. David's son Solomon also said: "Man's goings are of the lord: how can a man then understands his own way? Proverbs 20:24

"May's goings" is an all-encompassing statement, it means man's going in his business, his family life, his career, his job, his relationship, his ministry and what have you - all are of the Lord. Any step a man takes out of God's guidance will always lead to his doom, destruction is always the outcome of a life that lacks divine instruction.

Many by the reason of their placement in the society and the level of their wealth, think they have arrived, they think they don't need God's guidance anymore, they think they can always get whatever they desire in life. Please hear me and hear me clearly, no matter who you are and what you have, a chief Executive Officer/MD Senator, Honorable, Pastor or Bishop even if you are the President of your nation, if you lose touch with heaven in directing your ways at all times you will be highly tortured and your greatness tore down. In psalms 48:14. David said:

For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death"

This tells you that no matter your age in this life coupled with your cognate experience, wealth, position and power, God's guidance is ever relevant if you must remain relevant in the race of life. The very day you turn your back on God's guidance is the day you will be removed from greatness (II chronicle 26:16).

Guidance is the womb of greatness, direction is the mother of distinction, God's leading is what makes an enviable leader out of any one.

Many are suffering and sweating in life simply because God is not the one guiding their steps. Many don't find fulfillment in marriage because God did not lead them to marry whom they married. Many have lost fortune and great assets of their business empires to lack of divine direction. A life void of divine direction will certainly be far from distinction. There are many ordained prophets of the most high who are supposed to be doing great exploit in God's kingdom but their tittles have made them to lose touch with heaven thereby toiling in the work of the ministry. You cannot be serving Him as He leads you and be sweating in executing His assignment. Results will always follow when you do His will. ( John 5:30-14:12).

Friend I enjoin you to yield unreservedly to God's leading, it is a covenant ladder that can usher you to greatness you have always desired in life. As a single young man or lady, make sure you are guided in choosing life partner. The beautiful might not be the best, the handsome, might not be the honest.

In whatsoever you do in life, let God guide you daily and the journey shall be gloriously great. May the unction of God upon this teaching order your footstep to be constantly obeying the voice of His majesty thereby climbing sweatlessly the tower of supernatural greatness? God bless you!
