THE MYSTERY OF DIVINE GUIDIANCE

Man's going are of the Lord; how can a man then understand his own way? Prov. 20:24

In the time of old, when the children of Israel made a journey from Egypt to Canaan , the Holy Bible made it clear that they were led in a pillar of cloud and in a pillar of fire. Exodus 13:21

The pillar of cloud and pillar of fire, both signify the presence of the Almighty God. Exodus 14:19

Because it was God leading and guiding the children of Israel in all their ways, His presence was mightily with them and we are told that among other things, they thirsted not, when he led them through the desert Isaiah 48:21. The red sea was rebuked and silenced for their sake (Psalm 1 06; 9), they were led in safety (Psalm 78:53) and ultimately, God led them forth by the right way and caused them to get to their place of habitation, in other words, to possess their great possessions in destiny.

Divine greatness, which the children of Israel experienced, which has become a generational reference was made possible by divine guidance.

Deep down in the heart of every man and woman are such dreams as: exploits in business, in career and ministry, outstanding greatness in life, financial fortunes, speedily attainment and accomplishment, steady progress, surprising promotion, great peace and rest on every side.

But as James 1:1 7 would say:

"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the father of lights with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning".

Every gift, (man's innate desire) is from the Lord but it takes the medium of divine guidance to receive it.

There is no man in history, who has enjoyed the best from God in form of victories, fortunes, greatness, fame, preservation etc who was not led by God into it.

It is dangerous and highly disastrous for any man irrespective of his age, experience, position or possession to think he knows the way out of every issue in his life. King David in Psalm 48:14 says:

" For this God is our God forever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death".

No wonder, David never lost any battle in his days. He recognized and understood that divine guidance is all that makes man who he is in God and what he becomes in destiny.

Few years back, I stumbled on a very powerful and destiny framing scripture in proverbs 20:24 it read:

"Man's going are of the Lord; how can a man then understand his own ways?"

I want you to take note of the statement "MAN'S GOINGS". It is in plural form. In other words, in everything, in very area of man's life, it is of the Lord. It is God that determines, decides and directs his ways.

But funny enough, many people don't know that except God is the one leading, lack continues. Except God is the one directing, distinction is not in view. Except God is the one guiding, greatness in any area of life is not guaranteed!

Psalm 100:3 says; -"Know ye the Lord he is our God. It is he that made us, and not we ourselves..."

God is unarguably our maker and He is the only one who can make us to become all we have desired to be and that can only be possible if He is the one leading and directing our steps at all times.

Hear this and get it clear, no issue of life that is too small for God to lead you. Don't ever think that some issues in your life are too minute for you to present before me the Lord and seek for his approval.

Every thing that has to do with you must be presented before God with a humble heart and asks Him which way to go and until He tells you which way to go, you better don't make any move at all. If you do, it will culminate in lifetime regrets.

Do you know something? Many people are not making desired progress in the business they do simply because God did not lead them into it in the first place.

Many people are in age long stagnation, suffering, shattered and battered simply because they lost touch with divine guidance.

Hear me and hear me well, any relationship the Lord has not led you into will divide even minus to zero your joy, peace and rest of mind and takes you far from what is kwon as marital bliss in the future.

Let God lead you to whom to marry.

He or she may not have all you want but if it is the Lord that is leading you, you will never regret forever entering into that marriage, "you will be fulfilled!

In Matthew 4:19 Jesus , the king of glory said "Follow me and I will make you.."

Jesus was saying, " let me direct you, and you will never miss your distinction in life. Let me guide you, and you are sure to experience divine greatness. Let me lead you and you will never lack any good thing in life." Because the Bible says when he led them, they thirst not. .Isaiah 48:21

Beloved, if it's your earnest desire to be made in life, in business, in ministry, in your career, even in academics, let it be that it is the Lord that is leading you at all times.

You will agree with me that in the natural, It is painful and highly disturbing when one misses his route or way to his destination. Time and efforts must have been wasted and energy spent! How much more one missing out of the ordained way of God? It will greatly tell on one's destiny and eventually reduce it to destitute)

I enjoin you, beloved brothers and sisters, that decision you are about to take, consult God first, seek His approval and let Him guide you a II through so rest on every side can be your testimony forever.

Please consider this, the best any man would ever enjoy from God is embedded in Him going the very way God directs and doing the very thing He commands.

Concerning Jacob, it is written in Deuteronomy 32:10 that he was in a desert land and in the waste howling wilderness but because God did lead him, verse 13-14 tells us that Jacob rode on the high places of the Earth. That is divine greatness sir!

He stumbled into inexplicable wealth and surprising abundance! He experienced total fulfillment in destiny.

I see your life a vivid reflection of the blessing of God as you allow Him to lead and guide you.

You won't miss your steps in destiny is Jesus name Amen!
