FROM WICKEDNESS TO GODLINESS.

“Righteousness exalts a nation but iniquity is a reproach to any nation.” (Prov. 14:34)

The great psalmist- king David in one of his psalms, Chapter 51:5 said thus: "Behold, I was sharpen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me"

From the above verse of the scripture, it is revealed that every one born into this world was conceived in sin and sharpen in deep iniquity. To every natural man, iniquity is the way of life and sin is just a normal thing because from the womb, one has been moulded to practice iniquity at will.

Nature has designed it that every one born into this world has automatically been born into sin and such will exhibit iniquity without any reservation.

As a natural man grows up in life, he cannot but display wickedness, which is a direct product of iniquity. Everything a natural man or woman does is full of sheer wickedness.

Jeremiah 17:9 says: " The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked" who can know it?

The heart of natural man is deceitful, and terribly deep in wickedness. His aim is to hurt his natural man in one way or the other. His thought is to victimize, harass and deprive his fellow brothers and sisters what belongs to them.

You will agree with me that in a time like this, I mean at this moment, the height of wickedness is quite alarming.

People kill their fellow human being for rituals, wickedness! Armed robbery operation is all over the places wickedness! Many businessmen even women hire assassin to eliminate their business partners so they can get all the business deal. Wickedness!

Kidnapping, militancy, and all manners of killing are extremely rampant all just for political gains and self-aggrandizement. Wickedness! There are many lives, business, career etc, which have been caged and stagnated via occultic forces. Wickedness!

If you are very observant, in that your neighborhood in your office, community even in your family circle, there are people who never wish you well. They may laugh with you, greet you well, but deep down in their heart, they never want you to progress, prosper nor experience peace in all areas of your life. Wickedness!

Wickedness to every natural man is a way of life and it is exhibited without any reservation.

But the Holy Bible says that any one who is in Christ Jesus is new creature and old things have passed away (2 Corinthians 5:17) in other words, the old nature which exhibits Wickedness has given way, the very moment you invited Jesus to your life.

Any one who is born again is now a new creature that is, one who has been reformed, re-birthed and one with a regenerated mind and spirit who does righteousness at all I times.

But to the utmost surprise of Jesus Christ Himself, those who claim to be born again are known to be evil genius, they are the ones who perpetuate unbelievable wickedness and certainly, such people haven't had any touch with the Master Jesus, they may claim to be Christians with great tittles in church but they are not in any way Christ followers. You may see them in the church but they are not really in Jesus!

If you claim to know Christ and crises are all over your life, I urge you to check yourself properly, it could be your wicked act is what has been delaying your progress, rest and peace in life because the Holy Bible says:

"There is no peace saith the lord, unto the wicked. Isaiah 48:22, Isaiah 57:21"

Psalm 112:10 also says, " The desires of the wicked shall perish "

Whatsoever may be your heart desire, if you still display wickedness to every one around you, the Holy Bible says such desire will perish.

Many have been praying, fasting, attending church services regularly, even they have not missed to pay their tithes yet, they are extremely wicked and by so doing, their heart desires are strangely withheld.

May I ask you this question? Are you wicked? You may say you are not, but if you are the type that maltreats people who live or work with you, you are wicked! If you treat your surboninates anyhow and never desire them to be promoted or enjoy any benefit of service, you are wicked!

If your dreams and desires are that no one progress and prospers around you, you are wicked! if you bear grudges, exhibit hatred and keep malice with people, you are wicked! If you are husband snatcher, fornicator, adulterer, cultist, you are extremely wicked!

Any thing you do to your friends, relatives, neighbors, co-workers, employer, employee, church and family members, business associates and what I view that does not guarantee their peace, progress, prosperity and all-round protection is sheer wickedness!

Godliness is what gives you access to a glorious; a most covetable destiny but wickedness is what truncate people's lives and destiny. Make a choice!

Hear this, you may be intoxicated with power which you use to afflict and harass peoples. It could be political power, power as being the boss, communal power (land owner), monetary power and what have you. I tell you the truth, such power is limited to time, if does not go far but be reminded that all power only belongs to the Almighty God.

Hamman had political power but his wickedness dethroned him and put Mordicah on the throne (Esther 7:10) Pharaoh had kingly power but his wickedness drowned him in the red sea. If you desire to go far in life I enjoin you to be far from every act of wickedness.

Friends, nothing could be compared with godliness because the Bible tells us that godliness, is what delivers great gains 1 Timothy 6:6

If great things must follow you in this life, in your marriage, in your business, career, academic relationship, etc. godliness is the secret to get them.

Beloved, it is known fact that all of us were born in iniquity, but with the intervention of God sending His only begotten Son-Jesus Christ to the world, you can walk from wickedness to godliness; you can live a life that depicts God's character. .

(1) Forsake every wicked act. (Proverbs 2 8:13)

(2) Give your heart to God genuinely. (John 3:3)

(3) Ask for renewal of your mind and spirit. (Psalm 51:1.0)

(4) Walk in love with all and sundry [Mat 22:39)

(5) Wish everyone what you wish yourself (Luke 6:31)

(6) Let Gods Word be your guiding principles (Psalm 119:11)

(7) Continue in godly character (James 1:25, Gal 6:9)
