ARE YOU READY TO FIGHT?

“Blessed be the Lord my strength; which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight” Psalms 114:1.

Beloved, I want to deeply appreciate your love and commitment to reading DISCOVERY OF DESTINY and if peradventure this is your first time to be reading it, I am convinced that you will be highly blessed. The Lord who has brought this July 2007's edition your way has something definite to settle in your life and that shall be settled forever in the name of Jesus Christ.

Wherever part of life your destiny has been battered, shattered and scattered, your encounter with DISCOVERY OF DESTINY shall be a turning point to your permanent rest because you shall discover a Word which will cause you to recover everything DESTINY has ordained for you. This is your hour of unforgettable encounter with Destiny!

Friends, I want you to know if you have not known before and to be convinced that spiritual battle is a reality. Life itself is a battleground. Great man of God Billy Graham has been quoted to say "God has not called us to play ground but a battle ground."

From time immemorial even in the Holy Bible, no man passes through this planet earth without a reason to wrestle in certain area of life or the other.

To be ignorant of spiritual warfare as a Christian is to be waved out of your ways to a wonderful destiny. Spiritual battle is a normal experience to every believer and anyone who does not know this and how to fight will have him or herself to blame (lsaiah 43:2;Ephesians 6:12),

"I am a winner" is a wonderful statement everybody loves to make because nobody indeed wants to be a loser in any area of life but you must have fought a battle before you could emerge as a winner!

You can't just say you are an overcomer except you have been seriously attacked, opposed, oppressed and conspired against till you silence the enemy. Your constant victory in every area of life is an indication of your constant involvement in life's battles. The day you stop fighting is the day you start losing until you yourself are lost.

What preserves you and the blessings of God in your life is the awareness of the fact that spiritual battles. The day you stop fighting is the day you start losing until you yourself are lost.

What preserves you and the blessings of God in your life is the awareness of the fact that spiritual battle is inevitable and how you position yourself to be at advantage. Except you know this truth, you may be knocked out completely.

One of the men of war in the Holy Bible known as Paul the Apostle validated this when he said:

"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high p/aces"Ephesians 6:12.

Paul understood that there are spiritual forces that debar people's progress and hinder them from becoming what God has purposed them to be. Every evil occurrences in a man's life, his business, career, marriage, health etc emanates from these spiritual forces.

To further buttress Paul 's understanding about the reality of spiritual warfare, he said great and effectual doors have been opened unto him but there were many adversaries. I Corinthians 16:9)

Paul knew that God had opened doors of blessings that will culminate in his greatness in every facet of his life but he was also aware of the adversaries. Adversaries are man's enemies ranging from their grand master - Satan or call him Devil to his agents known as principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness, spiritual wickedness in high places and his human agents.

The principal enemy of man and his glorious destiny is the devil. He only uses his agents to frustrate and oppress people. Satan 's main mission as stated in John 10:10 is to steal, to kill and to destroy.

In I Peter 5:8, the Bible made it clear that Satan walks about as a roaring lion, looking for whom to devour. He is always on the go to steal; to kill and to destroy. He is a tireless warrior with the aim to bring total destruction to man and everything that belongs to him.

Please understand this, Satan always rejoices when a business which has been experiencing great increase, expansion and financial multiplication suddenly collapses until such business close down her operation. Satan is always interested to deposit deadly sickness and diseases in people's body. Satan along side with his human agents are always there to ensure that one who is ripe for marriage suffers delay.

Satan is the one who steals peoples finances, he subjects them to rigorous labour, they work like elephant but eat like ants. Nothing to show for their sheer hardworking. Satan is the one behind unproductive career, he is the one behind impotency, lack of conception and incessant miscarriages that has hitherto resulted in childlessness.

Satan gets excited when people die prematurely and he is always on the go to suck people's blood by causing motor accident; plane crash and boat mishap. Many people have all it takes to get good jobs but Satan , having accessed their future would want to plaque them with joblessness. What a wicked enemy Satan is!

Friends any life where peace, progress, promotion, prosperity and full protection are absent, know for sure that Satan is at work there.

Jesus Christ in His parable in Matthew 13:24-25 said that when men slept; his enemy came and sowed tares. But in Psalms 127:2b, the Bible made it clear that God gives His children sleep. In other words, God gives his children peace and rest roundabout but Satan desires to turn it to war.

By this expository teaching about how destructive Satan is, you just have to rise up and fight. Until you are ready for war against satanic forces, the devil will not allow you to make your ways to a glorious destiny. You just have to fight!

Beloved, it is time to fight and you just have to be ready to fight even if you say you don't want to fight, you will be fought until you're fizzled out. If you fold your hands in spiritual battle, you will have yourself to blame If you must possess your possession in destiny, you just have to rise up and fight. In spiritual battles, you are responsible, you are fully involved. Anytime you dodge spiritual warfare, Satan is there to deal with you. Life challenges are to be faced, they are not to be fenced.

Until you tell Satan to shut up, he will keep on making noise around you. Until you tell him to get loss, you will still see him hanging around you.

The essence of the power which Jesus has loaded you with is to use it against the Satan so he will know that you are the one in charge not him. Luke 10:19

You have a right in destiny to live a violent free life but if you don't know your right, Satan will take you for a ride!

To become an overcomer which God has ordained you to be in any battle of life, make sure you are a genuine born again because until you are for God, God cannot be for you to fight your battle for you. Then, engage in spiritual prayer and fasting to pull down every stronghold in your life. Switch on to praise warfare, live in righteousness; war with the Word of God and take the shield of faith. Then declare your victory even in the midst of the battle!

Come on, are you ready to fight? Go and fight, you are already a winner!
