HOW PREPARED ARE YOU TO SUCCED IN LIFE?

“Prepare thy work without, and make it fit for thyself in the field: and afterwards build thine house? Prov.24:27

Friends, there are two graphic illustrations I want you to consider as you go through this great teaching. One is in the book of Matthew 25:1-13 and the other in the book of Luke 14:28-32.

From these two scriptures, it is clear that where preparation is not in place, poverty is what will be in place. Where preparation is not in place, stagnation is what will be in place. Where preparation is not in place, deprivation is what will be in place and where preparation is not in place, pains and regret will be in place.

Anthony Robinson said “There are two kinds of pains in life; pain of discipline and pain of regrets and on the scale of life, discipline weigh ounces, regrets weighs pounds”

Beloved, preparation is all you need to succeed in life, it is fundamental to achieving your dreams and desires and it is what ultimately births your manifestation.

Anything that has no preparation will end in total failure. Preparation is what preceeds prominence. The strenght of your preparation is what determines how colourful and glorious your tomorrow will be.

God knew He was going to create animals, fishes, birds and man but He first prepared where they will live and what they will feed on.

Look at this: A man asked his wife “Sweet heart” where is my food? The wife replied “Honey” I am preparing it!

For the man to eat sweet food and feed well, the wife has to prepare it first. But if the wife refuses to prepare the food and the husband is hungry, you should know that marital violence will burst forth.

What is preparation?

“And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him”. Matt.5:1

Preparation means to get set for an operation. It means to get ready to do something.

Preparation also means to do what one supposed to do in order to get what one desires to get in life.

Preparation is laying a solid foundation for a glorious destiny and a better future.

Hear this: many have great dreams, great desires but are not adequately prepared to bring them to reality. Proverbs 24:30-34.

I will be showing you three major preparations you need to attain and accomplish your dreams and desires in life. With these three major preparation, your success is certain.

1. Spiritual Preparation

Spiritual preparation is the spiritual positioning to succeed in life. Spiritual preparation is the mother of all preparations.

Spiritual preparation with other forms of preparation are what boost success and deliver ones desires.

What does spiritual preparation entail? Spiritual preparation entail prayers, fasting, fellowshipping, praising, tithing, giving, serving, believing and doing the Word of God.

2. Financial Preparation

Ecclesiastes 10:19 says “...Money answereth all things”

The importance of money in a man's life can never be overemphasized.

To succeed in business, you need to prepare financially, to get marry, you need to prepare financially. To run a successful home, you need to prepare financially.

What does financial preparation entail?

Financial preparation entails saving for future needs. It also entails investing for long term such as buying of shares, stocks, properties, machineries and equipment.

Financial preparation also entail ploughing back your business profit into your capital for consolidation. It also entail financial discipline, wise spending.

3. Career Preparation

I Corinthians 14:40 says “Let all things be done decently and in order”

To become a medical doctor, you must first be a medical student. You cannot practise law until you have gone to the law schools.

To get to the height of your career, you must be prepared to get there.

Choose a career, then begin to do those things that are required to move forward until you succeed there.

Hear this: That someone is a graduate of Banking and Finance does not qualify him to be a Bank Manager, He must prepare to become one.

It is good to have great dreams but dreaming alone cannot bring success one needs to prepare adequately for success he desires. It is after you have prepared in the secret that you become showpiece to the world. Go and prepare!
